GiGo is a personal resale-inventory app. It has no advertising, creates no GiGo login, does not sell personal information, and does not track people across other companies' apps or websites.
Inventory and iCloud
The native app stores inventory and item photos on the device and, when available, in the user's private iCloud database. Changes and deletions can sync to other devices using that iCloud account. GiGo's metadata-only JSON export does not include photos and is not a complete backup.
Optional AI assistance
When the user requests an AI-assisted action, the selected photo set (up to four item photos for combined analysis) or relevant listing text is sent through GiGo's secured Cloudflare-hosted service to Anthropic. The response may include seller-verifiable visual evidence as well as draft copy. Under Anthropic's standard API terms, API inputs and outputs may be retained for up to 30 days unless a different retention agreement applies. A seller handle may also be sent when the user has entered one so draft copy can be personalized.
The Instagram helper sends caption text for rewriting. Screenshots selected in that helper stay on the device as local draft photos and are not sent to GiGo's service or Anthropic.
AI output is an editable suggestion. It can be wrong and is not an appraisal, verified sold comp, or guarantee of a sale price. AI assist can be disabled under You → Automation.
Pricing references
Pricing-reference searches are separate from AI assist and may run while that toggle is off. The only item content sent is the search words shown or derived from the saved brand, title, and category. The request passes through GiGo's Cloudflare-hosted service to eBay Browse and also carries App Attest plus ordinary network/security metadata. The seller handle, item photos, and description are not included. Displaying a live row may load its eBay-provided thumbnail.
eBay Browse results are current active asking prices, not completed sales, appraisals, or guarantees. If provider credentials are unavailable or eBay returns no usable rows, GiGo may show clearly labeled illustrative samples with local placeholders; those samples do not automatically set or create an inventory price.
Marketplace apps
GiGo does not store marketplace passwords or publish automatically. Marketplace preferences only control which marketplace app or website GiGo offers to open. The user confirms when an item was actually posted, reposted, or sold.
Security and retention
GiGo uses Apple's App Attest, request-size limits, replay protection, and rate limits to protect supported native service requests. Cloudflare D1 stores an installation key identifier, public verification key, Apple attestation receipt/environment, assertion counter, and timestamps—not inventory or photos. Inactive installation records default to deletion after 90 days; the configured range is 30–365 days. Rate-limit buckets derived from an IP address or installation key are pruned after roughly 24 hours. Inventory remains in the local or private iCloud store until deleted. Uninstalling the app does not necessarily erase records already synchronized to iCloud.
Legacy browser recovery
The browser-recovery page reads old GiGo IndexedDB inventory only in the current browser and downloads an archive. It does not upload that legacy inventory.
Contact
The final support contact will be published with GiGo's App Store listing. Adding that real contact here and in the native app remains a release requirement. Privacy or deletion requests should use that support contact once published.
